SS-48H Grinder (Pneumatic)

SS-48H Grinder (Pneumatic)

Product: Single-Sided
Description:

The S-48H grinding machine is equipped with a 48-inch (1219 mm) diameter grinding plate made of HT300 gray cast iron, compliant with the ISO 185 (2005) standard. The grinding plate consists of multiple segments secured to a support plate with screws.

The drive system—comprising an independent motor, a worm gear reducer, and multiple drive belts—is mounted on a floor-standing base.

The pressure weight plate is connected to the pneumatic cylinder's piston rod via a self-aligning bearing. The pneumatic cylinder is mounted on a crossbeam supported by two vertical columns positioned above the grinding plate.

The S-48H lapping machine is equipped with a 48-inch (1219 mm) diameter lapping plate made of HT300 gray cast iron, compliant with the ISO 185 (2005) standard. The lapping plate consists of multiple segments secured to a support plate with screws.
The drive system for the lapping plate comprises an independent motor, a worm gear reducer, and multiple drive belts; this assembly is mounted on a floor-standing base.
The pressure weight plate is connected to the pneumatic cylinder's piston rod via a self-aligning bearing. The pneumatic cylinder is mounted on a crossbeam supported by two vertical columns positioned above the lapping plate.
Operator safety is a primary focus of the equipment's design. A two-hand safety relay controls the vertical movement of the pressure plate; since simultaneous two-hand operation is required to initiate the process, this ensures the operator's arms are not injured while the pressure weight is descending.
Another safety feature allows the pressure weight to be locked in any position, preventing it from falling in the event of a sudden loss of air or power supply.
The flatness of the lapping plate and the workpiece can be adjusted by modifying the position of the conditioning ring on the lapping plate.
The equipment is configured as standard for use with loose abrasives; configurations for water and diamond slurry are also available as options upon customer request.
